CURRENT STATUS

So here is my bike in its current state. Missing a front brake line, blinkers, mirrors, speedometer. I cut the fender in the back which means every time I run over the smallest wet spot I get a dirty water streak up my back. I got rid of the leather skull and cross swords solo seat I got from eBay and threw a Biltwell Slimline on there. Let me tell ya, It feels much better! Once I get some new pipes and that front brake line run I am gonna be good to go! Only thing holding me back is my own laziness.

So here is my Kuwait Sportster in it's current state. Running fenderless sucks cause even the littlest bit of water leaves a mud stripe up your back and wet gravel in your face. So I have to throw the front fender back on and cut the stock rear one then put it on. I got a new Slimline seat from Biltwell that I am gonna throw on there and 10" shocks. Those struts are killer, I dunno how those dudes run hard tails. My headlight keeps tripping the breaker so I gotta get that figured out and wire up the brake light and I think I'll pretty much be done with this thing.

Got My Motorcycle License!

Well I was on vacation in the states for a month so I figured I might as well get my motorcycle endorsement. Probably the most/only productive thing I did last month. Took a 3 day Rider's Edge course at Pikes Peak Harley which was pretty cool and fun. After I learned to ride a motorcycle in kuwait it didn't take long for me to get in my first accident. No registration, insurance or license is a no-no so I stopped riding after that. That being said I haven't actually had much ride time so the class was pretty beneficial for me. I was a last minute entry on the stand-by list and didn't pay up front. I passed the class and got my certificate without giving them a dime for it and didn't pay till like 3 days later. I could have probably gotten away without paying the $200 but that's not how I roll. Plus I had just bought an '11 Fat Bob from there so I'm pretty sure they could have tracked me down.

Yeah that's my Bronco with the flat tire in the background. It was in storage for 2 1/2 years so the tires were dry-rotted. I'm just glad the Tire God's decided to wait until I pulled into the dealership to make it go flat.

The next day my Bronco was on a jackstand and my tire was gone...

The bandit only left one clue...

but I'm pretty sure I know who it was.

Just Kidding, I spent whatever, 12 or 13 hundred bucks on new 35's. Pro comp Muds. That green stuff was failed fix-a-flat stuff.

Young Blood

I taught the kids across the street how to start my motorcycle. At least if I come home and its not there I know which door to knock on...

Sportster

 2002 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200

This is my first bike! I got it a few months ago off a friend for $3600.. which is a pretty good deal, especially in the supply and demand economy of Kuwait. Not many Sportys roaming these streets.. Easy to learn on, fun to ride and runs great, couldn't have asked for a better deal! But riding in Kuwait sucks because all these punk teenagers try to run you off the road. I swear I nearly get into a fight every time I ride (which isn't often). But as soon as I stop, put my kickstand down and take my helmet off they peel out and take off. Probably for the best since I don't want to go to jail for beating a bunch of disrespectful teens half to death. I'm too pretty for jail. Or worse.. getting beat half to death by said disrespectful teenagers..
Anyways my Sporty hasn't looked like this in months. I'll try to get a picture of its current state tomorrow and list what I've bolted on there.

My Street

My Street! It's alright I guess. That yellow house is ugly as hell though.. and keeps getting uglier.

First Post

This was supposed to say Day of Firsts. My first day of making a blog and doing some other less impressive things that I decided not to share. ...but then I spelled it wrong.

I guess I'll use this to say all the stuff that I make fun of people for saying on facebook. Personal stuff, Interests and other things. Maybe things will be better with a more anonymous audience... or no audience at all... which ever.
